Your privacy

Your stuff
stays yours.

The short version: your tool inputs are processed in your browser.

What stays on your device

Your recipe ingredients, pasted writing, CSV files, images, PDFs, passwords and calculator inputs are used in browser memory. They are not submitted to a Toolmoz server or stored by the tools. We don’t include analytics or advertising scripts on Toolmoz. No AI service receives your questions or tool inputs.

Currency rates

The currency converter fetches public exchange rates through a Toolmoz API backed by Frankfurter. It requests a shared rate feed, not your amount or health information. Conversions still happen in your browser. Rates are cached for up to an hour; during a provider outage, a clearly marked cached feed may be used for up to 24 hours.

Your toolbox and preferences

Saving a tool stores its identifier in your browser’s local storage. Each role collection keeps its own favourites, and your active toolbox can become your start page. Your display mode, page width and accessibility preferences are stored locally too. These settings do not contain your tool inputs. Remove a tool using its heart button, or clear this site’s browser data to remove all collections and preferences. The collections are specific to this browser and are not synced to an account.

Links and hosting

Some links include non-sensitive example settings, such as a serving count or conversion units. Those settings are part of the URL and can be visible in browser history and standard hosting logs. Avoid putting personal or sensitive information into URLs. The hosting provider processes ordinary web-request information to deliver and protect the site.

Copying and downloading

Copy and download controls work on your device. Copying places your chosen result on your system clipboard; downloading creates a local file. Take particular care with credentials or other private content in your clipboard and downloads.
