Coefficient of variation
Compare sample spread with its positive mean on a ratio scale.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Sample CV = sample standard deviation / positive arithmetic mean, reported as a fraction and percentage. Requires at least two values and a positive mean. Interpretation needs ratio-scale measurements with a meaningful zero; Celsius temperatures and arbitrary interval scales are unsuitable.

Use a ratio scale with a meaningful zero; interpretation is unstable near a zero mean.
