Coin flipper
Flip one coin or up to a million, with counts, streaks and how unusual the split is.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Each flip takes one bit from this browser’s cryptographic random generator (crypto.getRandomValues), so the coin is fair and every flip is independent of the others. The tool counts heads and tails, the number of runs (unbroken stretches of the same face), the longest run, and how far the heads count is from an even split in standard deviations (a fair coin has mean n ÷ 2 and standard deviation √n ÷ 2). The longest run in n fair flips is typically about log₂ n, which is why streaks look suspicious but are normal.
