Complex number arithmetic
Add, subtract, multiply or divide complex numbers and inspect polar form.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Interprets each pair as real + i·imaginary, using standard complex arithmetic. Reports real and imaginary parts, Euclidean modulus and principal argument in degrees from atan2. Zero has no defined argument, and division by zero is rejected. Values use floating-point arithmetic; no symbolic simplification or branch-dependent logarithms are attempted.
