CSV numeric string cleaner
Remove declared grouping and currency wrappers while preserving decimal digits.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Uses explicit decimal/grouping marks and optional required prefix/suffix. Grouped integer portions need 1–3 initial digits followed by groups of exactly three. Supports a single sign or enclosing negative parentheses, with outer/wrapper whitespace trimmed. Empty cells remain empty; exponents are unsupported. Decimal digits are preserved as strings, with a finite magnitude check up to 1e100. Do not use on identifiers.
