Image comparison slider
Slide between two images or inspect a highlighted pixel-difference map.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Accepts two PNG, JPEG or WebP files up to 10 MB and 16 million pixels each; source dimensions must match. Builds a preview no larger than 1,600 × 1,200 pixels, compositing transparency on white. The slider compares these decoded previews. Difference view marks pixels whose largest absolute RGB-channel difference exceeds the threshold; statistics also refer to the scaled preview, not all original pixels. RGB differences are display-code differences, not a perceptual colour metric. Exports the current preview as PNG. Browser decoding may apply orientation and colour management; animation and metadata are not preserved.
