JSON Pointer query
Select a nested value using an exact JSON Pointer, preserving large numeric tokens.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Implements plain-string JSON Pointer syntax: / separates tokens, ~1 represents a slash and ~0 a tilde. Empty pointer selects the root; / selects an empty object key. Arrays use zero-based canonical integer indices, without leading zeros. Missing values and the nonexistent append index - are errors. URI-fragment pointers are not decoded. Duplicate keys are rejected, and large numbers remain exact text.

Worked example
A fixed demonstration, separate from the values you enter above.
- JSON document
- {"name":"Ada","items":[{"id":9007199254740993,"active":true},{"id":2,"active":false}],"settings":{"theme":"blue"}}
- JSON Pointer (empty selects root)
- /items/0/id
Example result
9007199254740993
Pointer resolves to one exact JSON value; numeric tokens are preserved.
