Name wheel spinner
Add names, spin a colourful wheel and reveal a random winner with a little suspense.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Each non-empty line is one equally likely entry. The winner is selected locally with Web Crypto using rejection sampling to avoid modulo bias; the animation then lands inside that entry’s equal-sized sector. Repeated names are separate entries and increase that name’s total chance. Choose a 3, 6 or 10 second spin, skip to the reveal, optionally remove the winning entry, or restore removed entries. Names and the latest 100 results stay in page memory until you reload or leave. Reduced-motion preferences reveal the winner without spinning. For casual choices, games and classroom activities.
