PDF to images (PNG or JPEG)
Turn PDF pages into PNG or JPEG pictures at a resolution you choose, in a ZIP.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
PDF.js draws each page you choose onto a white canvas at 72 to 300 dpi, lowered automatically when a page would need more than 12 million pixels, and the browser saves it as PNG (lossless, larger) or JPEG (smaller, with a quality setting). One page downloads as a single picture; several pages download together in a ZIP. The pictures show what the page looks like: text in them can no longer be selected. Pages that use rare compression such as JPEG 2000 or JBIG2 need WebAssembly, which some browsers or settings block. Up to 30 MB, 500 pages and 100 pages at a time. Files are read and changed in this browser only and are never uploaded.
