Your inputs

Use exact X,Y headings, without repeating the first point unless closing a polygon.

Up to 25 MB per file, 50,000 data rows, 200 columns and 2 million data cells. Fully blank rows and columns are ignored before row, column and cell limits are checked. Individual tools may have smaller result or chart limits.

A clear answer. Here’s how.

Validates a simple 3–500-vertex polygon, then applies the even–odd crossing rule. Boundary points are reported separately using a distance tolerance of 10⁻¹⁰ × max(1, largest absolute coordinate). Coordinates must share one Cartesian system; no geographic projection is inferred. Near-boundary results depend on the tolerance. Includes a coordinate plot of the polygon and query.
