Rectangular pyramid calculator
Calculate a centred right pyramid’s volume, side areas and edge length.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
The apex is directly above the centre of a rectangular base. Volume = length × width × height/3. Each pair of side faces uses slant height √[h²+(opposite base dimension/2)²]. Adds the rectangular base for closed total surface area. This does not model an oblique or truncated pyramid.
