Standardise a numeric dataset
Convert each observation into a dataset-based standard score.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Subtracts the dataset mean and divides by the selected sample or population standard deviation. Requires positive variability and at least two observations for sample mode. These scores do not establish normality or percentile ranks. Reports each original position and value with its standard score.
