Reads little-endian RIFF/WAVE PCM 8/16/24/32-bit or IEEE float32, mono or stereo, at 8–192 kHz. Up to 25 MB, 300 seconds and 12 million channel samples. Compressed WAV, extensible/RF64 and multichannel files are unsupported. Selection endpoints snap to source sample boundaries. Optional peak normalisation targets −1 dBFS before applying fades; linear edge fades are limited to half the selection. Exports interleaved 16-bit PCM WAV at the original rate and channel count, without metadata or dither. Out-of-range samples are clipped for export and counted. No audio is uploaded or played automatically.
