PCM bytes = seconds × sample rate × bits per sample × channels / 8. Encoded bytes = seconds × average kbps × 1,000 / 8. Shows decimal MB and binary MiB. Estimates audio payload only; container headers, metadata and variable-bitrate differences are excluded.
