Axial room mode calculator
Explore ideal axial resonances along a rectangular room’s three dimensions.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
For each room dimension L, axial frequency at order n is c×n/(2L). Lists the length, width and height families sorted by frequency. Assumes an ideal rigid rectangular room and your sound speed; tangential/oblique modes, absorption, openings and real-room behaviour are excluded.
