BMR calculator
Estimate the energy your body uses at rest with Mifflin–St Jeor.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Uses the simplified Mifflin–St Jeor equation: 10 × weight (kg) + 6.25 × height (cm) − 5 × age, then +5 for males or −161 for females. This predicts resting energy expenditure, commonly used as a BMR estimate. The original study included adults aged 19–78. One nutritional kilocalorie equals 4.184 kJ.
