Cholesterol & triglyceride converter
Convert blood lipid units with the correct factor for each test.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
For total, HDL and LDL cholesterol, mg/dL × 0.0259 = mmol/L. For triglycerides, mg/dL × 0.0113 = mmol/L. The reverse divides by the selected factor. These rounded clinical factors differ because the substances have different molecular masses. This does not estimate LDL or interpret a lipid panel.
