Weighted decision matrix
Compare options using your own criteria, directions and weights, with an exportable ranking.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Use Option followed by 1–20 numeric criteria, with 1–50 uniquely named options. Supply exactly one non-negative weight and min/max direction for each criterion; at least one weight must be positive. Min-max normalises each criterion across the supplied options to 0–1, reverses lower-is-better criteria, and combines scores using weights divided by their total. A criterion identical across all options gives each a normalised value of 1. Ties within 0.0000000001 score points share competition rank. Scores are relative to this option set: adding an option can change the ranking. Weights and assumptions are yours; this is a comparison aid rather than an objective recommendation.
