Quilt block layout planner
Preview a square-block quilt and calculate finished and cut dimensions.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Uses a straight-set rectangular grid of square finished blocks, without sashing or borders. Finished width/height multiply block size by counts; cut square side adds two seam allowances. Supports at most 400 blocks with an accessible SVG layout and plot download. Diagram units are inches; it is a block plan rather than fabric nesting or seam-pressing guidance.
