Sample-rate playback change
See the pitch and duration effect of reinterpreting a recording’s sample rate.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Speed ratio = playback rate / original rate. Pitch change = 12log₂(ratio) semitones; new duration = original duration / ratio. Assumes the samples are reinterpreted at a different rate without pitch-preserving resampling or time-stretching. No audio file is modified.
