Dates & time
Unix timestamp converter
Convert Unix seconds or milliseconds to a UTC date and back.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Unix time counts elapsed seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z, ignoring leap seconds. Dates are explicitly interpreted as UTC. Second outputs are rounded down; millisecond inputs must be whole numbers.
