Chocolate cocoa percentage blend
Mix two labelled cocoa percentages to reach a target batch composition.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Solves m₁ + m₂ = total and m₁p₁ + m₂p₂ = total × target. The target must be between two different cocoa percentages. Cocoa percentage is treated as the labelled mass fraction, without inferring cocoa solids versus butter, sugar, tempering behaviour or suitability as a recipe replacement.
