Circle skirt dimensions
Calculate waist and hem radii for full, half and quarter circle skirt sectors.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
For circle fraction f, the waist arc is 2πrf, so waist radius = (waist + ease)/(2πf). Adds skirt length and hem allowance for the outer cut radius. Reports the finished hem arc. These are ideal sector dimensions; seam, waistband, fastening and waist-edge seam allowances are excluded. No fabric nesting or grain/stretch prediction is made.

A fixed demonstration, separate from the values you enter above.
- Finished waist circumference (cm)
- 76
- Added waist ease (cm)
- 2
- Finished skirt length (cm)
- 60
- Added length for hem (cm)
- 2
- Circle fraction
- Full circle
