Cross-stitch fabric size
Preview the stitched rectangle and fabric margins from count and stitch dimensions.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Stitched inches = pattern stitches × threads spanned per stitch ÷ fabric count. Adds the supplied margin to every side and converts inches to centimetres using 2.54 exactly. Use one for ordinary Aida squares; counted evenweave over two uses two. The SVG shows stitched and cut boundaries, without adding backing, hem or frame rebates.
