Simple pendulum period
Estimate a small-angle pendulum’s period and frequency.
A clear answer. Here’s how.
Small-angle period T = 2π√(L/g), with length from pivot to the point mass. Assumes an ideal simple pendulum, small amplitude, negligible damping and constant gravity. Large swings require a different model.
